How zoonix LLC collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Korea Car Export website and referral/brokerage services.

Last updated: 22 August 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Korea Car Export, a platform operated by zoonix LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (USA). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting personal data you share when browsing our website, requesting a quote, contacting us on WhatsApp, or using our referral and brokerage services to import a vehicle from Korea.

This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it. By using the site you acknowledge that you have read this policy and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, agree to the practices described here.

This policy should be read alongside our separate Cookie Policy, which covers in detail the types of cookies we use and how to control them.

2. Data controller

zoonix LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (USA), is the data controller. Our registered office is at 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. For privacy enquiries use the email or WhatsApp shown on our Contact page.

Other, unrelated companies may use a similar name in other US states. Always verify the registration number shown on our About page (Wyoming 2026-002061224) to confirm you are dealing with the right entity.

3. Data we collect

We may collect the following categories, depending on how you use the site:

  • Identity & contact: name, phone, email, destination country/port.
  • Request data: budget, vehicle preferences (make, model, model year), form messages, and shipment tracking reference if provided.
  • Usage data: approximate IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referral source, and timestamps (via analytics such as Vercel Analytics or Google Analytics when enabled).
  • Technical data: cookies required for the site, language and currency preferences — see our separate Cookie Policy for full detail.
  • Communications: WhatsApp or email messages you initiate regarding a vehicle or quote, including any attachments you send (such as photos or documents).
  • Dashboard account data (if you create an account): your email, a hashed password, and the order history linked to your account.

4. How we use your data

We use your data for legitimate purposes including:

  • Responding to enquiries, providing quotes, and coordinating purchase and export logistics with the export partner.
  • Operating internal admin, inventory database, order records, and shipment tracking.
  • Improving the website, user experience, performance, and fixing technical issues.
  • Legal compliance, fraud prevention, and preventing abuse of the site where necessary.
  • Sending order-related updates (inspection status, shipping, arrival) when you have requested them or when necessary to fulfil your order.
  • Optional marketing communications (such as new-arrival alerts) only if you explicitly opted in to our newsletter.

6. Sharing data

We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We may share it only where actually necessary to fulfil your request or operate the site, with:

  • Infrastructure providers (server hosting, database) under confidentiality terms that bind them to protect your data.
  • The licensed Korean export partner we refer you to, so they can contact you directly to fulfil your enquiry — we share your name, contact details, and request details for this purpose. This partner is independent and is separately responsible for protecting your data once they receive it.
  • Shipping, customs, and inspection partners in Korea or your destination country, limited to what is needed to fulfil your order (for example, your name and delivery address).
  • Public vehicle listing sources in the Korean market when sourcing a car on your behalf — your personal data is not shared with those sources or published.
  • Analytics and advertising providers (such as Google Analytics), in aggregated, non-personally-identifying form when these tools are enabled — see our Cookie Policy for details and how to opt out.
  • Authorities or courts when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences, and measure performance. This section is a short summary only — full details of each cookie type, its lifespan, its purpose, and how to control or reject it are available in our separate Cookie Policy, linked from the site footer.

In short: we use essential cookies that cannot be turned off (language, admin session), optional analytics cookies (to measure visits), and may use optional advertising cookies if we enable ad networks. You can control all optional cookies through your browser settings or any consent-management tool shown on the site.

8. Data retention

We retain order and communication data for the duration of our business relationship with you and for up to 5 years after the last transaction, unless applicable law (such as tax or anti-money-laundering rules) requires a longer period.

Marketing data (such as a newsletter subscription) is deleted as soon as you unsubscribe. Browsing session data not linked to an account or an actual request is kept in aggregated form for a limited period for analytics purposes, then deleted or anonymized.

If you close your dashboard account, we may retain certain records (such as invoices) for the period required by law even after account closure.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data: site-wide encrypted connections (HTTPS), protected admin passwords, access limited to authorized staff only, and periodic database backups.

Despite these measures, no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure. If we discover a security breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Your rights

Depending on the data-protection laws of your country of residence, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request erasure of your data or restriction of its processing in certain cases defined by law.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Request portability of your data to another provider, in a machine-readable format where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
  • Lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in your country of residence if you believe our processing of your data violates the law.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@koreacarexp.com or via the support channels shown on the site, clearly stating your request and any information that helps us verify your identity. We aim to respond within a reasonable period (typically 30 days), and may request additional verification before acting on a request to protect your data from unauthorized access.

11. International transfers

Given the nature of our services (a US company, vehicles sourced from the Korean market, customers in the Gulf), your data may be processed in South Korea, the United States (hosting and cloud providers), or other countries where our vendors and partners operate.

We use reasonable contractual safeguards (such as confidentiality clauses with service providers) when transferring your data outside your country of residence, to the extent required by applicable law.

12. Children

Our services are intended for adults (18+) capable of entering into vehicle purchase and export contracts. We do not knowingly collect children's data. If we learn we have collected a child's data without parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as possible.

14. Policy updates

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The new version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will try to notify you by a reasonable means (such as a notice on the site). Continued use of the site after the update is posted constitutes acceptance of the changes.
